Chef George and I at The Standard. We have enjoyed the Wine Food & Festival along with NYC food establishments, suggested by our fans and friends. Great Lobster Bisque (The Lobster Place, Chelsea Market), Molletteos (El Paso Spanish Harlem), and Vesuvius (in Little Italy) and of course the Malbec at The Standard. We have covered many miles by foot and train watching locals as they eat from Street Trucks or from the small cafe countertops. As we enjoyed the rich and lovely foods we have discovered many tastes that will come back to the wide open ranges of North Texas.
What an awesome time was had by all! NYC is one of my favorite places to visit, of course for many reason but most of all the food. You can find a food truck with cuisine from every part of the world on every other corner. Some really great restaurants such as Bar American in the Flatiron District, and Bastille Pizza on 10th ave in the Meat Packing District, where you are sure to find the Pizza to be the best you have ever had. I would suggest the artichoke pizza. All I can is OMG! The artichoke pizza at Bastille is pizza you will never forget nor want to. If you are ever in NYC this is must have you will not be let down by this one, and be sure to tell them Chef George sent you. Enjoy and hope to see you there one day, cause I go often.
Hello! Just want to say thank you for this interesting article! =) Peace, Joy.
